Project Summary: West Asheville Branch Library is located at 942 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806. The facility is approximately 12,900 square feet and consists of a public library and community room. Services provided by the firm or individual must include, but are not limited to: • Examining the library’s current workflow and making recommendations for improvement. • Design for the staff work area. • Design for the replacement and addition of a circulation desk. • Floor covering replacement. • Design for storefront door replacement. • Design for repair and replacement of exterior soffits including exterior lighting components. • Design for restroom renovations including improvements for ADA accommodation. • Shelving and furniture layout to optimize workflow and lines of sight for the space. • Working with the owner and a furniture vendor for the purchase of new furniture. • Providing schematic design, design development, and construction documents for the above items. • Involving sub-consultants for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. • Performing bid administration. • Performing construction administration.
