A. Purpose: Buncombe County is seeking candidates interested in designing concrete repairs in the athletic stadium at Asheville High School. B. Project Summary: Asheville High School is located at 419 McDowell Street, Asheville, NC 28803. The “home” side of the stadium, located adjacent to Victoria Rd, is a concrete structure with mounted aluminum seating. The concrete has deficiencies such as spalling, cracks, and sealant failures. These deficiencies are leading to water intrusion which is amplifying the deterioration. Services provided by the firm or individual must include, but are not limited to: • Investigating the cause of the deficiencies. • Designing repairs to mitigate the deterioration. • Providing schematic design, design development, and construction documents for the project. • Bid administration. • Construction administration. • Compilation of close out documents
