Phase 1 Discovery: • Review current internal qualitative and quantitative studies of the College (i.e., Momentum metrics, Student Voices Surveys, current key performance indicators) • Engage college constituents via interviews, focus groups, and surveys to ensure that key stakeholders participate in the process. The College’s preference is for in-person interviews and focus groups but is open to in-person focus groups only. All surveys can be electronic/virtual. • Conduct a needs assessment based on data from college initiatives and other college consultants, resource allocation, and effectiveness of student success initiatives • Evaluate community-needs research (i.e., Land of Opportunity Study - Chetty 2.0) • Evaluate the College’s position, strengths, and opportunities based on qualitative and quantitative findings as well as current trends in higher education and workforce development • Evaluate the College’s current vision, mission, and values Deliverables for Phase 1, including but not limited to: • Raw data from the qualitative and quantitative research • A document (narrative and/or slide deck) that presents an analysis and interpretation of the key findings and conclusions. • In-person and virtual presentations by the vendor of those findings to selected college leaders Phase 2 Drafting: • Draft a vision and mission statement, set of core institutional values, and strategic goals using evaluations from Phase 1 • Recommend key performance indicators Deliverables for Phase 2, including but not limited to: • A document draft and slide deck of the proposed vision statement, set of core institutional values, and strategic goals • A document of proposed key performance indicators • In-person and virtual presentations of the proposed vision statement, set of core institutional values, and strategic goals to selected college leaders...
