Gaston County Public Works, hereafter referred to as “County” invites vending service management companies, hereafter referred to as “Vendors”, to submit a proposal to operate beverage, snack and limited food vending services for Gaston County facilities; The County is committed to offering a wide variety of snack, food, and beverage vending services to all employees of the County as well as citizens and visitors using beverage/snack/food vending services at public and private sites. Consideration will be given to creative ways of offering the County community a high quality, healthful product, continuous product variety, efficient and timely service, and quality equipment with a fair commission structure. The County requires the Vendor to provide new, late model, first-class vending equipment. It is highly desirable that the vendor provides machines that are energy efficient. The County will designate and maintain suitable space for beverage/snack/food vending equipment. This is to include lighting and electrical power. The Vendor agrees to exercise care to comply with established energy conservation practices, regulations and policies and endeavors to conserve the use of electricity.
