Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work with Town of Cary staff, Triangle J Council of Government (TJCOG) staff, and triangle municipalities to create a marketing and communication strategy for the Chiefs Energy Challenge, - Create a resource web page for fire and police sustainability to be hosted by the TJCOG - Work with the Town of Cary and TJCOG to ensure that Town of Cary and TJCOG look and feel expectations are met - Work with Town of Cary staff and interns and regional municipalities (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) to profile case studies or vignettes through written summaries, photographs, and short videos regarding Fire Station sustainability projects, for use on the website and in presentations. Examples of possible case studies to profile successes and lessons learned regarding energy reduction in buildings or fleet to include: o Town of Cary Fire Station #8, new high performance building, in construction o Town of Cary fire station retrofits, 6 stations, Southern Energy Management o Durham successes like replacing appliances, solar thermal o Raleigh successes like lighting o Chapel Hill successes - Consult on uniformity of message in website, presentations, etc. where it is useful - Utilize project management skills to develop timeline and to ensure delivery of products on schedule - Use access to graphics designers, to assure that website is visually appealing and easy to navigate - Capacity to edit short videos for presentment on website, using Final Cut Pro X or similar software. You must have access to software separate from this contract and demonstrated experience with said software. - Capacity to generate website coding - Develop materials for any youth-related/teen outreach done as part of this grant
