The City of Statesville is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to furnish and install two (2) State Brand commercial water heaters at Statesville Fitness & Activity Center. The new water heaters must meet the specified performance and installation requirements to ensure seamless integration with the existing infrastructure. 1. Equipment Specifications; The selected vendor shall furnish and install two (2) State Brand commercial gas-fired water heaters that meet the following minimum requirements: Each unit must be rated at a minimum of 300,000 BTUs per hour. The water heaters must be compatible with the existing pipe and venting system to minimize modifications. Units must be high-efficiency and compliant with all applicable energy codes and industry standards. Manufacturer’s warranty information must be provided. 2. Installation Requirements; The vendor shall: Remove and properly dispose of the existing water heaters in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure that the new water heaters fit within the existing pipe and vent structure with minimal modifications. Make all necessary plumbing and gas line connections to ensure proper functionality. Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications. Provide any permits and inspections required for installation. Perform system testing and commissioning to confirm proper operation. 3. Site Preparation & Cleanup; The vendor shall be responsible for protecting surrounding areas from damage during installation. All debris, old equipment, and materials must be removed and properly disposed of at the end of the project. The work area must be cleaned and restored to its original condition.
