The Contractor shall provide a proposal for the removal of approximately 10,000 SQFT of existing interior and exterior flooring materials, if necessary for proper bonding of the new coating system. These materials include, but are not limited to epoxy coatings, VCT, ceramic tile and vinyl cove base. • All surfaces shall be properly prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and industry standards. Preparations shall include, but are not limited to grinding, concrete repairs and crack remediation, block replacement, self-leveling, minor landscaping, cleaning, moisture mitigation membranes, and any other preparatory work required to ensure proper adhesion and performance of the new coating system. • The Contractor shall install commercial grade, low-VOC, non-slip, UV and weather resistant Polyaspartic and/or Polyurea coating system for all areas which include sidewalks, kennel floors, trench drains, interior floors and walkways, and four-inch (4”) base on all associated concrete block walls. • The Contractor shall be responsible for the protection and relocation of all furniture, materials, equipment, shelves and any other obstructions necessary in order to complete all surfaces. Anything moved shall be placed back in its original location after the new coating system is cured. • The Contractor shall provide a minimum of a five (5) year warranty covering both materials and labor. The warranty shall guarantee the new coating system against any cracking, peeling, fading, scratching, or lifting. The Contractor shall address these warranty claims within thirty (30) calendar days after reported.
