Specifications include, but are not limited to:The North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island is seeking proposals for carpentry services for facility and exhibit repair and maintenance for The North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island. 5.1 OBJECTIVES To provide carpentry services for facility and exhibit repair and maintenance for The North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island. Contractor shall supply all materials and tools. 5.2 TASKS The Contractor shall: 1. Perform basic building and construction tasks including rough framing, trim work, drywall finishing and light duty painting. 2. Work in both public and non-public areas as well as indoor and outdoor environments at the Aquarium. 3. Work during business hours 9 am - 5 pm daily. The Aquarium is closed Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day. 4. Work after hours in the event of an emergency. If there is an emergency, the Contractor will be contacted via telephone call from the Aquarium Operations Superintendent or designee. 5. Call the Aquarium Operations Superintendent or designee within twenty-four (24) hours of any service call placed by telephone
