Inspection and Tension Requirements: The Contractor is required to perform the following: 1. Visually inspect fabric envelope for tension. 2. Ensure membrane is not abrading or contacting foreign materials and check tightness of all turnbuckles, shackle pins, cotter keys, tensioning rods and jacking masts and elements. 3. Evaluate fabric edges for fraying, check catenary pockets and cover flaps for proper adhesion. 4. Ensure cable covers are intact. 5. Ensure no cables are slack or abrading the fabric membrane. 6. Inspect all clamping plates for tightness of fasteners, inspect rope beads, extrusions and curbing clamping plates for proper position and to ensure bead has not pulled out or torn. 7. Evaluate overall condition of fabric envelope including any unusual areas of discoloration, debris or bird dropping contamination. 8. Inspect the fabric panels for any observed loss of pre-stress or tension. 9. Tension testing at 16 locations and tension if necessary. 10. Inspect the fabric for punctures or areas or abnormal wear or abrasion. 11.
