Specifications include, but are not limited to: Macon County is accepting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) for the New Franklin High School and Stadium project. Pre‐construction, procurement and construction services are included in this scope of work, for the on‐site replacement of the high school and stadium on the current campus of Franklin High School. Phased construction is required to accommodate this work on the active school campus. The existing Franklin High School is located at 100 Panther Drive, Franklin, NC 28734. The work of the CM@R is as follows: 1. Pre‐construction services beginning with the construction documents phase of design to include project constructability review, site logistics planning, and budgeting. 2. Bidding, award and management of numerous principal and specialty trade contracts for others to provide the actual construction of the project and submittal to the owner of the Guaranteed Maximum Price. 3. Construction phase management the work of numerous principal and specialty trade contracts for the construction of the new high school building, athletics stadium, and associated site improvements.
