Specifications include, but are not limited to: CATS is looking for a program that will use a class 1 analog that will utilize newer chemistry which will benefit LYNX by lowering the use rates per acre and increasing the duration of control. This will consist of systemic herbicides for broad spectrum, pre and post emergent control of grasses, broadleaf weeds, and some vines. Vendor will provide the following services on-track spraying, off track areas within the storage yards, sub stations and signal houses.; 3.1.1. This will consist of at least 2 track vegetation sprays a year. One in the spring and another being performed in the winter. The Company shall provide on-track spraying of the entire 40 miles of track that include double main tracks, storage tracks, and yard tracks. The Company may also provide off-track spraying in storage yards, sub stations, and signal houses.; 3.1.2. The work will be performed in 2 nights during CATS non- revenue hours 0030 - 0400 hours. A pre-spray inspection of the LYNX Blue Lune will be required to document MOW conditions. Services will be performed a minimum of twice a year, once in the spring and once in winter. All services being performed within two (2) consecutive night period, during CATS non-revenue hours. These hours are typically between 3:00am and 4:00am, seven (7) days per week. The refence times re subject to change and such modifications will be communicated in a timely manner to the Company by the Project Manager.; 3.1.3. The vendor will then work closely with CATS personnel to ensure track time allocations are appropriate for the required work and to account for various logistics that need to be addressed to ensure efficient and reliable spray truck operations.; PM Service and Quality Assurance: 3.3.1. Vendor must be RWPP certified – Certification will be provided by CATS personnel prior to being project. The individual so authorized shall be properly trained, experienced in the type of service being performed and fully capable of managing, directing, and coordinating the services, and receiving and carrying out directions from the City.; 3.3.2. Vendor is solely responsible for having and maintaining any and all required equipment and products.; 3.3.3. Unless otherwise specified by the City, the Company unconditionally guarantees the material and other methods as deemed appropriate by the City from time to time shall be used to gauge Company’s performance.; 3.3.4. Poor performance with respect to service availability, quality of work, unsafe practices, or any of the other requirements of the Contract, as judged solely by City, shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of the Contract between the City and the Company.; 3.3.5. Cleaning and Safety Any by-products, environmental hazards, spills, servicerelated supplies, and materials used in the performance of the Services, and any related work area, must be cleaned and properly disposed of in accordance with all EPA, OSHA, local laws and ordinances, and any related environmental agencies and regulations.
