Durham Technical Community College, Building 9, located at 1700 Cooper St, Durham NC 27703, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the replacement all Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes. The current VAV’s are out of date and will be replaced to match the current specifications of the controllers. The controllers are programmed for VAVs, AHUS, HW and CW systems in a new Tridium panel. The VAV’s must be able to communicate with this system. This includes the removal and replacement of a total of 64 Variable Air Volume boxes throughout Building 9. All labor and materials are be included in the bid. Vendor is to comply with all State and Federal requirements for disposal of debris, including but not limited to the procurement of permits, hauling requirements, and disposal of hazardous materials. This will be an all-encompassing bid by the vendor. This will include moving of furniture and fixtures and that the vendor will need to be aware that they may need to work around class scheduling of the college.
