Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications as required by the State of North Carolina. Contractor shall have adequate and qualified staff in order to provide WCPSS with the service and response time requested. Must be able to handle multiple calls at one time, respond on a 24 hour, 7 day basis and will be expected to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours. Scope of work includes the installation, maintenance and repair of electric, gas and oil-fired boilers and water heaters. Must be knowledgeable of electrical and mechanical schematics and be able to troubleshoot problems relating to boilers and water heaters. Contractor will have procedures in place for working on mechanical and electrical systems and employee training will be kept up to date as per contractors’ requirements. Contractor will utilize the Lockout/Tagout procedure when working on these systems. Contractor shall be responsible for any required permitting in order to perform job task.
