Gaston College is seeking a vendor for comprehensive printing, assembly, fulfillment, and distribution services for BioWork Training Manuals, including both Student and Instructor manuals. BioNetwork is a statewide bioscience training initiative under the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS). Through education, training, and laboratory resources it provides industry-driven economic and workforce development for the biotechnology and life science industries across all 58 community colleges. Gaston College is one of the host colleges, housing the BioNetwork Learning Solutions Center. Their mission is to connect and support Colleges, Companies, and Students through professional growth and career pathways. These manuals are used across the North Carolina Community College system as educational resources supporting the BioWork certification program. BioNetwork currently supplies 14 host community colleges with printed materials. Student participation in the BioWork program during the last fiscal year exceeded previous years' numbers, and we anticipate continued growth in the coming year. FY 2024-2025, 1,129 participants completed the BioWork program. We saw an increase of 204 participants last fiscal year.
