Specifications include, but are not limited to: Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide expertise in the administration, management and implementation of Health and Welfare Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), Wellness Programs, Income Protection Benefits (Life Insurance, Supplemental Life, FMLA and Short Term / Long Term Disability and Voluntary Benefits such as Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance and Hospital Indemnity plans. The Awarded Provider Must: • Serve as management consultant on all health plans, and other related employee benefit programs by providing advice and assistance reviewing the County’s Employee Benefits Program on a continuing basis to ensure that those plans are in compliance with federal, state and local requirements, and that there is adequacy of benefits with respect to other plans and recommending alternative benefit designs or delivery systems as dictated by emerging plan costs or benefit practices. • Assist the County in making data-driven health care decisions on predictive modeling and analysis of the County’s health care data.
