Specifications include, but are not limited to: A qualified vendor to provide full-time armed security guard presence in nine (9) locations throughout the State of North Carolina during business operating hours. (Please see Attachment B for State Holidays). These offices are in the following cities: Battleboro, Durham, Elizabethtown, Greensboro, High Point, Lumberton, Raleigh, Wilmington and Wilson. The hours for each office vary, but generally the normal operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. The vendor must provide one (1) armed security guard that will police the waiting area of the offices, parking lots, work areas, and Career Resource Centers. Guard must intervene if customers get, angry, upset, loud, violent, rude, or disruptive. Guard may also be directed to work as reception person in absence of workforce office staff.
