Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Exterior Window project consists of the replacement of the main entrance curtain wall, entry doors and the replacement of the fixed and operable window units for the whole building. Glass in the existing window systems is non-insulating glass and creates condensation issues in the winter and is not energy efficient. Project also includes a new entrance sign. The Light Fixture Replacement project consists of replacement of the existing T-12 and T-8 fluorescent light fixtures in the State Library and State Archives Stacks are fluorescent. Existing fixtures will be replaced with LED fixtures with motion detectors. Project scope also includes replacing the existing fluorescent lay-in fixtures in the Archives Reading Room and Microfilm Room with indirect LED fixtures.
