Complete Interior/ Exterior painting of the Henderson County Animal Services Building, 828 Stoney Mountain Road Hendersonville, NC 28792. A. ALL patching, prep, and painting times shall be approved by the Animal Services Director before works commences as to not interfere with daily schedules of feeding/ cleaning. B. Only approved Sherwin Williams paint to be used. Paint color selections will be handed out during Prebid meeting. C. Paint and supplies are to be stored in a designated area each day as to not interfere with the daily activities of the department. D. All areas of the building that have been previously painted with the exception of vinyl siding, or fencing shall be repainted. E. Daily cleanup of your work area is required as staff and public will be in the work areas. Brushes and supplies are to be cleaned in one designated janitor’s closet. NO brushes or supplies are to be cleaned outside F. All masonry block, kennel areas are to be degreased, cleaned, scraped, and sanded to a smooth finish. G. All cracks, crevices, and /or holes, shall be caulked or filled with an approved epoxy filler. H. All masonry areas shall have a peel bond primer applied with two coats of PreCatalyzed epoxy.
