Surry County is pleased to issue this Request for Proposal (RFP) to invite experienced and innovative restaurateurs to submit proposals for the operation of a restaurant at the new Airport terminal. This initiative is a key component of the County's strategic plan to enhance the economic vitality of our County, creating a destination that appeals to both residents and visitors. The Airport Authority owns the property, where the 9,700 sq. ft. terminal is being constructed. The space offers: • Approximately 2,100 sq. ft. dedicated to the restaurant. • Indoor and outdoor seating. • Two (2) 3 person restrooms. • Three (3) entrances. • Existing plumbing, electrical, and hot water heater infrastructure. The primary objective of this RFP is to identify a restaurateur who can: • Develop and operate a successful restaurant that aligns with the County's vision. • Create a unique dining experience that is attractive to locals and visitors. • Contribute to the economic growth and development of Surry County. • Enhance the overall aesthetic and ambiance of the designated location. • Demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and collaboration.
