The Chesapeake Economic Development Department desires to attract, retain, and expand high quality industry and business to create a stable and diverse tax base. The goal is to create an economy that improves the standard of living for the citizens of Chesapeake. The Contractor shall provide full-service advertising services including, but not limited to, production of media advertisements, creation of promotional materials, formulation of marketing strategies, market research, full-service website design, hosting and maintenance . This also includes marketing/advertising activities to promote economic development and convention activities:. The Contractor shall analyze and present potential markets for Economic Development and the Chesapeake conference Center. The Contractor shall create, prepare, and submit for approval estimated costs (budget estimates) and detailed advertising ideas and programs for EVERY project to the Director of Economic Development. The Director may accept or reject the cost estimate (budget estimate). The Contractor shall not proceed with any advertising or promotional services without the written authorization from the Director of Economic Development.
