Specifications include, but are not limited to: Accounting Technician, II, & III Positions in this category primarily maintain, oversee, and report financial accounting data. The staffing position (s) requested may be responsible for, but not limited to, accounts receivable/payable and may also require specialized fiscal knowledge, such as payroll, contract/grants, or other closely related accounting services. Positions have delegated responsibility to analyze data for accuracy, reconciliation of data and information, problem-solve and to interpret regulations. Contractor must ensure that all candidates provided are capable of proper handling of personal information, sensitive accounting information, or any other sensitive information ensuring the non-disclosure of all confidential information. Section 1.1 Accounting Technician I: Junior Accountant Technician - Knowledge-Technical: Working knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and practices. Knowledge of accounting and other software (e.g.: ERP, Excel, Word, Access). - Financial Program Monitoring and Management: Successful Candidate shall have Ability to maintain routine financial accounting data, following standardized methods and procedures. Ability to maintain accounting records and, report data in standardized formats. - Communications: Ability to gather and report routine financial information. - Problem-Solving: The Ability to identify and correct routine and recurring financial problems, referring extraordinary problems to a higher level. Ability to follow/apply oral and written guidelines.
