Specifications include, but are not limited to: Johnston County Public Schools is requesting quotes to convert (22) existing Schools and (1) Bus Garage and (1) Facility Services building from the existing Schlage standalone door access system to the County’s S2 District wide access control system. This will consist of installing various new S2 door nodes and micronodes at each site, pulling new Plenum Rated door access composite cable to each door location and converting the doors from the localized Schlage controller to the new S2 equipment as well as converting existing AD series locks to wireless transmission over new PIM modules. ; 1- Install owner provided AD-400 antenna cards in the (4) existing AD-400 locks. 2- Install (4) wireless PIM receivers throughout the facility to communicate with the existing AD-400 locks. 3- Pull Cat 6 cable from new PIMs to nearest network closet and terminate. 4- Remove micronode from Media Center 401 and install it in Art/Music wing IDF. 5- Install node in media center 401 and reconnect existing door access cables. 6- Install micronode in classroom near reception. 7- Connect the exiting (5) QEL panic bars to the new S2 system. 8- Add door contacts to each QEL door and tie into node. 9- Add all card access doors to the districts S2 system through programming.
