Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center has an access control system that is approximately fifteen years old and consist of approximately twenty-seven card readers controlling access to facility entrances, resident floors and other secure areas. The current software system was phased out of service in 2005. This system operates controllers that release and secure magnetic locks allowing entrance and egress to various areas of the facility. The upgrade will consist replacement of the software, controllers, circuit boards, and networking cards and include any programming needed to operate the access control system. During this upgrade we will be keeping all card readers, cards, magnetic locks and cabling in place unless agreed through change orders during the installation process.
