The vendor will provide a software solution that: • Offers reading and literacy support (e.g., text-to-speech, screen reading, reading comprehension tools). • Offers writing support (e.g., word prediction, spell check, speech-to-text, grammar check). • Offers learning and study tools (e.g. talking dictionary, picture dictionary, highlighters, vocabulary list builder) • Offers PDF annotation tools • Supports multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, Chromebooks, iPads, and web browsers. • Provides accessibility features (e.g., font adjustments, color overlays, translation tools, webpage simplifier). • Provides OCR technology to convert inaccessible text to accessible text • Integrates with Canvas learning management systems (LMS), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365. • Meets all federal and state accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance) • Provides professional development, technical support, and ongoing updates. • Application should be available to students at home as well as at school.
