The project will provide the design of a new double loaded 5 Bay EMS Regional Base facility that will include its required amenities. Amenities to be included but not limited to: ambulance bays, sleeping quarters, kitchen and dining area, day room, wellness room, toilets and shower rooms, offices, watch/work room, meeting rooms, large training/community room, equipment/gear and medical supply storage. The facility will also include a laundry and decontamination room, as well as mechanical, electrical, and data rooms. The facility shall be completely electric and shall meet or exceed LEED Gold standards. The project shall accommodate rooftop solar panels, battery backup capability and car charging stations. The facility will have a full facility backup generator. The approved building design will serve as a master design and be replicated for future EMS Regional Bases.
