The County has identified the following objectives: Phase 1 – Design, while in compliance with current codes and standards, a living shoreline not to exceed 480 linear feet, an ADA ramp leading to the existing fishing pier using like materials, and an ADA open-air shelter(s) allowing emergency response access with a concrete pad, ADA picnic tables, and aluminum standing seam metal roof. Phase 2 – Bidding, Negotiation, and Construction Administration services. The County is seeking firms with specific expertise in the design of similar scope projects. All proposed project designs will be reviewed and authorized by an evaluation panel consisting of individuals selected by the County and shall be subject to all applicable governmental reviews and design standard approvals. Responses shall clearly outline the firm’s ability to deliver the following minimum services of providing the following services: Develop architectural design documents and conceptual options/alternatives. The A/E shall prepare drawings and documents that depict alternative concepts which satisfy the overall scope of work. 1. Present to the County panel, the preliminary as well as final plans and cost estimates. 2. Incorporate the County’s request and prepare development documents consisting of drawings and other documents to relevant to the County’s request. These documents shall also include information on materials and other such elements as may be appropriate and meet current building code regulations and ADA/DEQ/DCM requirements and standards. 3. If approved for construction, prepare construction/bidding documents and assist the County in responsibilities for filing documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the project.
