FP2011HG - FP2011-On-Site Training Services

Onslow County Schools will be implementing a mentor program for students who are identified as homeless focused on increasing student attendance, school engagement, and graduation rates by decreasing truancy and behavior concerns. The OCS staff mentors will focus on check-ins with students, regular, meaningful connections, and family engagement opportunities to provide evidence-based interventions to meet the desired outcomes of the program. OCS is seeking an existing evidence-based training program for student services personnel to provide the structure of this mentor program.
