The City of Wilson – Wilson Energy (WE) was awarded a federally funded grant through the U.S. Department of Energy, Grid Deployment Office (GDO) and is accepting sealed proposals/bids for equipment and labor to install material (to include braces) for approximately 2,763 wood poles based on the below requirements and information in this document. Federal provisions apply to this contract. If needed, WE may request more than (1) one crew. WE may also hire more than (1) one contractor. Pending approvals, the contract shall begin on or around February 2026.
