RFQ-YC01 - Youth Center Awning

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting proposals to supply and install an awning on the building at 804 New Bridge Street. Please submit a lump sum price that includes all labor, materials, engineering certification and necessary permits. 

The specifications for the awning shall include the following: 

1. Size: 42 inches high, 48 inch projection and 49 feet 1 1/2 inches long. 2. Construction: Suitable frame and navy blue fabric covering similar to “Sunbrella” in quality. 3. Style: Traditional style box awning with straight 4 inch bottom trim. 4. Permits: Necessary building permits are to be obtained and paid for by contractor. 5. Engineering: Stamped drawings or letter certifying materials and construction of frame structure and installation method. 7. Warranty: Provide minimum 5 year warranty on fabric cover. 

North Carolina State Sales Tax shall be included in the Contract price. The Contractor shall maintain and be responsible for seeing that accurate records of all payments of North Carolina State Sales Taxes on materials, supplies, fixtures, and equipment are maintained. 

This project is to be completed within 30 days after the purchase order has been issued by the City. Payment for this project will only be made when the project is complete (no partial payments will be made for this project).
