Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting bids for Woodhaven Drive Sewer Point Repair in Jacksonville, NC consisting of the replacement of an 8-inch sewer line on Woodhaven Drive. The repair is located approximately between the 128-foot mark and the 145-foot mark traveling from MH 4512 to MH 4510. The contract documents may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment. Bids will be opened on October 4, 2007 at 5PM in the Engineering Conference Room at City Hall, located at 815 New Bridge Street. The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any and all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutues and under Municipal Code 11-9. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville. Bidders must be a licensed general contractor.
