Summary of Specifications:
This project is to include the milling of approximately 8,700 square yards of existing pavement to a depth of six (6) to nine (9) inches or deeper as necessary to get six (6) inches below the edge of the curb. Once the milling has been completed, cleaned, and inspected, a tack coat will be applied followed by four (4) inches of B-25.0B super-pave base course asphalt. After the entire street has been milled and the base course installed, two (2) inches of S-9.5B super-pave asphalt will be applied in a continuous surface course. Permanent traffic markings and lane dividers will be done with NCDOT approved thermo plastics.
