Description: Construction of a new Restroom Facility next to the existing Sturgeon City Administration Building and associated work
Bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville in Johnson Blvd. Conference Room, City Hall, located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28540 until 2:00 PM on February 15, 2006 and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids may also be mailed to: City of Jacksonville, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the offices of the Architect-EDA pa, north Carolina, 301 Commerce Ave., Suite 102, Morehead City, NC 28557 and 901 Hargett Street, Suite D, Jacksonville, NC 28540. They may also be obtained at City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid meeting in the Sturgeon City Administration Building located at 4 South Court Street, Jacksonville, NC on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 1:00 PM. All Bidders are encouraged to attend.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the City’s best interest.
BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville.
Each Bidder must deposit a five (5%) percent Bid Security with his/her Bid. Failure of a bidder to submit a bid bond will render the bid invalid. Failure of the successful bidder to sign the contract will result in forfeiture of the bid bond.
