Summary of Specifications:
This describes the terms and conditions for purchase of 17 One-Ton Containers of Liquid Chlorine, and 360 - 150#-Cylinders of Liquid Chlorine which will be delivered within seven (7) days following each request for delivery to the Jacksonville Land Treatment System, 716 Firetower Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
All proposals should be in a marked as “Request for Proposals – Liquid Chlorine FY10”. Proposals are to be returned to the Public Services Department by 3:00 PM on July 3, 2009 at the Public Services Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Or, proposals can be faxed to (910) 938-5278. The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
It is understood that the approximate quantities requested of 17 One-Ton cylinders and 360 - 150# cylinders are solely for the purpose of facilitation the comparison of Bids, and that the Vendor’s compensation will be based on actual quantities necessary to meet actual operating requirements during the contract period. No minimum quantity is guaranteed. No Demurrage fees to be applied. Sales tax not to be included in bid.
