Summary of Specifications:
This describes the terms and conditions for utility easements to be bush-hogged and/or hand cleared as listed herein. The work shall include furnishing all safety equipment, materials, tools, labor, transportation, and supervision necessary for the prosecution and completion of the work. II. Proposals Due All proposals are to be returned to Mr. Pete Deaver by 4:00 PM on March 18, 2010 at the Public Services Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. III. Specifications The work includes bush hogging and/or hand clearing the below mentioned utility easements in a neat and workmanlike manner. The resulting mulch will remain on site. Approximate Dimensions White Street to Brynn Marr Road Collector - 1,500 linear feet x 10 ft wide Brinson Creek 36” Force Main - 11,100 linear feet x 10 feet wide These areas are only approximate descriptions. Reference the maps attached herein for a complete description to the size and location of the easements. Bidder shall be paid for each linear feet cleared. The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
