Summary of Specifications:
This describes the terms and conditions for catering services for the Annual City of Jacksonville Christmas Party as listed herein. The work shall include furnishing all equipment, materials, tools, labor, transportation, and supervision necessary for the completion of the work.
All proposals are to be returned to Ms. Nancy Ortiz by 5:00 PM on October 30, 2009, at the Human Resources Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville is interested in obtaining proposals for this year’s Christmas Party which will take place on Friday, December 11, 2009, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center. It is the bidder’s responsibility to supply food, utensils, plates, napkins, cups, and beverages for 400 people. It is the bidder’s responsibility to set-up the morning of the event and clean-up after the event. Set up includes but is not limited to warming trays and all related serving utensils as well as the tables and table covers for the serving table. At the conclusion of the event, caterer is responsible for cleaning up the area to be left in the same manner as it was found.
The City is interested in serving ham, turkey, roast beef, rolls, corn, stuffing, collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy along with brewed (not instant) sweet and unsweetened tea (no lemon).
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
