The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Transit System Bus Stop Amenities Upgrade Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The Transit System Bus Stop Amenities Upgrade Project includes the installation of concrete pads, five foot wide sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. The project involves twelve locations in Jacksonville, NC. The project consists of grading, forming and pouring of twelve concrete pads, approximately 208 square yards of sidewalk, eight wheelchair ramps and sodding of the disturbed and graded areas. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Transit System Bus Stop Amenities Upgrade Project as described in the supplied project description and contract documents.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 3:00 PM on April 8, 2010 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for April 5, 2010 at 9:00 AM in Johnson Boulevard Conference Room at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street. A site visit will immediately follow this meeting.
