The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Softball Fields 3 and 4 Final Grading Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
The Softball Fields 3 and 4 Final Grading Project includes precision fine grading and tilling of two softball fields to prepare the surface for sodding. Softball Fields 3 and 4 are located adjacent to the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center located at 100 Recreation Loop in Jacksonville, NC. The project consists of tilling the field surfaces with a heavy duty rototiller, removal of any remaining debris or vegetation, laser, GPS or Total Robotic Control precision grading and preparation of the soil for sodding. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Softball Fields 3 and 4 Final Grading Project as described in the supplied project description and contract documents.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 4:00 PM on June 19, 2009 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
