The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Boardwalk Marsh Site Improvement Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: . The Sturgeon City Boardwalk Phase III Marsh Site Improvements Project consists of the materials and labor for approximately 23,000 square feet of earthwork including precision grading, site tilling and landscaping, installation of approximately 4750 marsh plants and 120 trees and shrubs, installation of sediment fence and installation of sediment boom. The project is located at Sturgeon City Park at the corner of Wardola Drive and Loyola Drive in Jacksonville, NC. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Sturgeon City Boardwalk Phase III Marsh Site Improvements Project as described in the supplied project description, specifications, plant list and drawings.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 3:00 PM on March 25, 2010 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM on site which will be at the corner of Wardola Drive and Loyola Drive in Jacksonville, NC.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
