RFQ-FY02-11A - Re-bid Annual Street Reconstruction FY 02-11A

Summary of Specifications:
This project is for the reconstruction and paving of 19 city streets plus or minus those that may be added or deleted by authorized change order. Work will include in place reclamation and injection of lime or concrete into the existing asphalt and sub-grade to a depth of twelve (12) inches, grading, compaction, and placement of two (2) inches of I-2 asphalt. Streets with curb and gutter that have been reclaimed will have some of the material removed to allow for a smooth transition between the new asphalt surface and the curb. Roads with strip pavement will have additional dirt (Top Soil) brought in, graded, fertilized, seeded, and mulched to build up the shoulders. One street Dunbar Lane will only receive a two (2) inch overlay of I-2 asphlat. All aspects of this project include approximately 44,855 square yards of in place reclamation, 46,355 square yards of 2" thick I-2 asphalt, restortion of 44 manholes, 35 valve boxes, 2 monitoring wells, and 8 blue reflectors along with all other work as described in this contract or as may be added or deleted by authorized change order.
