Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from engineering firms for contract services to prepare design drawings, specifications, bid documents, bid recommendation and contract administration for the replacement of the University Drive Pump Station. The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
The University Drive Pump Station is a Cantex style station, a deep metal cylinder that houses both the electrical system and the submersible pumps, that is in need of replacement. The capacity of the existing pump station is 375 gallons per minute (gpm). This project will involve some pipeline design that will be primarily located at and within close proximity to the pump station site.
The selected Firm should be prepared to have this project ready for bid within 270 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
Statement of qualifications shall be submitted to the Engineering Division, Department of Public Services, City of Jacksonville, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541, no later than 5:00 PM, September 28, 2007. Five copies shall be submitted.
The Firm shall provide professional engineering services related to the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents of said project. The Firm will submit along with the RFQ, the name, address and Project Manager to be associated with this project. Please see attachment for full details.
