Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting Statement of Qualifications for special inspections services and materials testing for the new Fire Station #2. The Fire Station #2 project consists of the construction of a 10,219 square foot single-story building with three vehicle bays to include all site work, general construction, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. The project is located at the corner of Gum Branch Road and Sandy Drive in Jacksonville, NC. Construction is expected to commence in October 2013 and be complete within 300 calendar days.
All Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) should be in a marked envelope entitled “Request for Qualifications – Special Inspections and Materials Testing for the Fire Station #2”. SOQ are to be returned to the Public Services Department by 5:00 PM on September 4, 2013 at the Public Services Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all proposals and to accept that Proposal or Proposals which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
