Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from engineering firms for contract services to assess the short and long term wastewater collection and treatment needs of areas within proximity of the City of Jacksonville’s corporate limits and to formulate recommendations for addressing those needs. The selected Firm may also be requested to prepare environmental documents, permit applications, construction drawings and related documents necessary to facilitate all or part of the infrastructure recommended during the planning phase as well as, provide construction observation and administration services during construction of the infrastructure. Execution of the work is expected to occur over three phases. The selected Firm should be prepared to have Phase I of this project complete within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed if the Firm is awarded the work for a single study area and 270 calendar days if it is awarded the work for two study areas. At the City’s option, if Phase II and Phase III are incorporated, additional calendar days will be added to the project at a negotiated price.
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
