Quotes Due The Traffic Signal Division of the City of Jacksonville will be receiving quotes for, One (1) 5,000 lb. Cable Spool Hauling Trailer. All quotes are due March 11, 2016 by 10:00am. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Quotes and either email it to mperez@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver to Maria Perez at the Finance Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Qualifications If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must be able to provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices.
Rights The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.

2. Delivery; The equipment will be made to delivered to the City of Jacksonville Fleet Maintenance Division. ________
3. Payment will be made to the vendor once the vehicle has been accepted “along with meeting all conditions as stated in the box below”. The equipment must be in good condition along with warranty paper work. The certificate of origin along with a copy of the invoice shall be delivered to the Fleet Maintenance Division at 350C South Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540 on or before the delivery date of the equipment.
The Fleet Maintenance Division and the Requesting Department will hold a joint inspection before accepting the vehicle. Upon delivery and prior to acceptance of this vehicle the successful bidder will be required to conduct any necessary technical training in the operation or maintenance of this vehicle to City personnel or provide a schedule whereby the manufacturer provides such training locally.
