Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting Bid Proposals for the purchase and installation of thirty-one level transducers and cabling. Transducers must be equal to or better than In-Situ, Inc. brand, PXD type, pressure transducer and cabling, and have the specifications noted in Exhibit A – Scope of Work. All materials must meet the City’s MSSD requirements. Proposals that include products less than equal to the In-Situ, Inc. brand will be considered non responsive.
Sealed Proposals will be received, by the City Clerk’s Office of the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina, located at , 815 New Bridge Street, P.O. Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541, until 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, September 9, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Jacksonville City Hall, Conference Room A&B. Any proposals received later than the specified time will not be accepted or considered. The sealed proposal must be clearly marked “PROPOSAL FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALL OF LEVEL TRANSDUCERS - BID NO. FY 15-01”. The City of Jacksonville, NC assumes no responsibility for unmarked or incorrectly marked proposals.
The BID DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Utilities Maintenance Division, located at 350 B South Marine Boulevard, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
