RFP-Forestry Management - RFP-Forestry Management

The City of Jacksonville is seeking proposals for a professional forester to provide forestry
management services for the City’s wastewater treatment Land Treatment Site (LTS).
Services will include professional consultation, advice, and performing services as outlined in
Exhibit A.

The initial term of this agreement will be 7 years with an optional 3, 1 year extensions,
beginning on July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2031. Any changes to unit pricing will need to
be submitted to Public Services Director or his representative on or before April 15 of each
year to be considered for the renewal.

Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. on April 23, 2021. Proposals should be mailed or delivered
to Public Services Department, Attn: Derek Hart, at Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge
Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 or email to dhart@jacksonvillenc.gov. The responsibility for
submitting bids (including all documents requested herein) is solely and strictly that of the
Bidder. The CITY is not responsible for delays in the delivery of the mail or delays caused by
any other occurrence.

Proposals will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, taking into
consideration quality, performance, and timely response as reported by required references.

The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or
all proposals, and to accept that proposal or proposals which appear to be in the Owner's
best interest.

p.m. on April 20, 2021 by calling Public Services at (910)-938-5233. LTS is located at: 716
Fire Tower Road, Jacksonville NC, 28541.
