The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Brynn Marr and Ellis Pump Station Ventilation Repair located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
The Brynn Marr and Ellis Pump Station Ventilation Project include the repair and modification of the existing heating and ventilation systems for complete and usable systems. In general, the contractor shall provide damper motors, remove existing electric heater, provide new H&V controls complete, clean, connect, adjust, and commission H&V equipment. The Contractor shall report any non-functioning equipment outside of the scope of repairs shown on the plan sheets. Brynn Marr Pump Station is located at 910 Corbin Street and Ellis Pump Station is located at 100 Hardison Hills Court in Jacksonville, NC. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Brynn Marr and Ellis Pump Station Ventilation Repair Project as described in the supplied technical specifications and contract documents.
All bids are to be returned to Wynne Ray by 2:00 PM on June 4, 2009 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
PRE-BID MEETING. There will be a pre-bid meeting scheduled for May 27, 2009 at 3:00 PM in Johnson Boulevard Conference Room which will be immediately followed by a site visit.
