Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for 2010 Rehabilitation Project Phase II – Foxhorn Road located in Jacksonville, North Carolina: Description: Foxhorn Road Sewer Replacement and Pavement Reclamation. This project includes work related to replacement of sanitary sewer system infrastructure along Foxhorn Road from its intersection with Belmont Court and McDaniel Drive in Jacksonville, NC. Work to be performed under this Contract is the replacement of sewer lines including, but is not limited to, materials and labor for installing an 8-inch diameter PVC, connections to existing manholes, sewer services, demolition and removal of the existing pipelines, and pavement removal and repair. The project also includes all necessary sediment and erosion control procedures and all other work required to complete the project. All bids are to be returned to Frank Sanders , PE by 5:00 PM on July 14, 2011 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment. The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9.
