RFB-Pine Valley Rd - Pine Valley Road Improvements

Summary of Specifications:
Informal bids from qualified bidders for improvements along Pine Valley Road will be received by the Infrastructure and Capital Projects Manager until 2:00PM on April 3, 2007. The project consists of improvements along Pine Valley Road near Winthrope Way and Clover Drive to include Component 1 and Component 2 as follows: Component 1 =(1)Installation of 410 linear feet of mountable curb and gutter; (2)Installation of 120 square yards of 1/4" thick S4.75A asphalt overlay 8' wide along edge of new curb and gutter;(3)Installation of two handicapped ramps; (4)Removal of 15 linear feet of curb and gutter; (5) Removal of 15 linear feet of concrete sidewalk; and (6) Restoration of project area. Component 2 = (1)Re-grading of 360 linear feet of 6 foot wide swales; (2) Installation of 2,160 square feet of centipede sod. Bids shall be received on a lump sum basis; however, price shall be broken out by each Componet. The Jacksonivlle City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid or bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
