Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Linwood Drive Sanitary Sewer Points Repairs Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The Work to be performed under the contract includes replacing two (2) separate sections of eight inch (8”) sanitary sewer pipe within the roadway by means of point repairs. Each point repair will require the removal of the defective section of sewer line shown on the Drawings, followed by the installation of 12 LF of new 8” SDR 35 Pipe. Also included in the Work are all necessary equipment, materials, and labor needed to perform the point repairs in accordance with the City of Jacksonville’s Manual of Specifications, Standards and Design, to include, asphalt pavement replacement, disposal and replacement of unsuitable soil, bypass pumping (if necessary), and all other necessary work needed to fully complete the identified point repairs.
All bids are to be returned to Andrew Kassell by 4:30 p.m. May 15, 2015, 2015 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Andrew Kassell, Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
CONTROLLING LAW: Any agreement, contract, or purchase order resulting from this invitation, request for bid, quote, or request for proposal shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
