The City of Jacksonville is accepting quotes for the purchase of one laboratory glassware washer/dryer, Labconco Model 4400000, or equivalent. Minimum specifications are as follows;
• 115V,60Hz, 16A * LED displays program selected or details of the program. • Flexible cycle options allow you to change wash and dry cycle duration and number of rinses. • Stainless steel top and bottom racks accommodate a variety of accessory inserts (sold separately). • Upper and lower rotating wash arms with adjustable height center tower distribute up to 60 gallons (227 liters) of water per minute. • Tower adjusts to accommodate various glassware heights. • Built-in forced air drying system • Mirror bright Type 304 stainless steel interior reduces contaminant carry over during wash and rinse cycles. • Quiet, energy efficient operation at 62 decibels • Dispenser for neutralizing solution allows addition of mildly acidic rinse solution to alter pH and eliminate alkaline detergent carry over. • Type 304 stainless steel door • Steam generator produces hot vapor to penetrate and soften dried residue allowing detergent and hot water to work effectively. • Built-in purified water pump draws from a storage tank or pressurized system to deliver pure water during final two rinses. • Draw latch locks the door. • Dual heaters boost water and glassware temperatures.
